He also presents an MBA from the International College of the Cayman Islands and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica.
He has wide experience in corporate and commercial law and has worked with different firms and institutions in the Cayman Islands and other countries. He was appointed the New Business Officer for State Street Cayman Trust and worked with different prestigious legal teams across the world (Boston, Japan, and Ireland). In these positions, he was in charge of negotiating all the mutual funds' documentation.
The expert has worked with unit trusts, corporations, and partnerships and has been in touch with innovative investment products around the world. During the early days of his career, he worked as an Assistant Registrar of Companies for the Cayman Islands Government.
He also studied and practiced Islamic Finance so that he can work with HALAL and Sharia-compliant structures.
Currently, he has a large firm that specializes in corporate and commercial services, investment funds, close-ended and open-ended partnerships, private equity transactions, and others.
